Hi Tylor, Im having the same problem as David with a Excel file with macros which is working fine in Office 2013 but is not working on Office 365.
However, I can't deselect them in the dialog box as they are claiming to be in use. Activex Control Not Working In Excel For Mac 2011. The problem surely is.if these references each have copies of the TeeChart objects, I need to delete the v5 references. I can run macros successfully from the quickaccess toolbar. Often a box will hover above the button containing its text, and when I am able to click on the box the macro runs however, the buttons themselves are completely non-responsive.
The reference TeeChart Pro Activex Control v6 is listed below and has been found, as would be expected. Hi, when I try to run a macro using its buttons, the buttons do not respond, animate, or function. dialog box in excel code editor as "MISSING".which they clearly are as I don't have version 5 installed. The problem seems to be that for some reason Excel thinks it's using TeeChart Pro Activex Control and TeeChart Pro Activex Control v5 as references, both of which are marked in the Tools>References. I don't see that reinstalling office will help, as I've just installed TeeChart for the first time. Unfortunately, to have remote web access to the server, it requires either a Windows computer or a Mac running a virtual environment. I can accomplish all of this if I set all the labels manually to fmBackstyleTransparent, but I wish to do it via code so If the switches ever break or are not in the correct position, I can issue a "rebuild switches command" and with some code reset all the switches.I'm having the same issue, having just installed ActiveX 6.0.0.6 and the update. The user will never see these labels and the switches show up when the mouse moves over the area. I need the activex label as it has the mouse move event, as far as I know the forms label does not. I'll have another larger label over that one as well one layer beneath so when I roll away, the switch becomes invisible again. After messing around with all 3, I was only able to get the Check Box (ActiveX Control) to work. To use form controls, this is the process we need to follow. For example, Internet Explorer’s Flash player is an ActiveX control.
So I want a label over the switch that is invisible, when I roll over it, the switch becomes visible. Install and run ActiveX controls on a protected system using the ActiveX feature. Or any work around to have similar functionality. Can please suggest any alternative as it was a common control.
For the machines that do not work, when I click on a form control the code executes but then hits a run-time error 32809 on the following line: ActiveSheet. Im not sure if its more than just ActiveX controls. You can use these controls on worksheets to help select data.
It is stopping me from migrating my excel add-in to 64 bit excel add-in. However, even after that fix half of the machines are having an activeX control issues, which I dont think is related to the update. Form Controls are objects which you can place onto an Excel Worksheet which give you the functionality to interact with your models data. I could not figure out any alternative solution for Listview control. They need to only be visible individually when the mouse moves over the correct spot for any given switch. Article only says 'You can search for an alternative solution.'. As there are dozens and dozens of these switches, having them all visible clutters up the app. I have a three way switch using shapes, I only want this switch visible when I mouse over it.
